OUR STORY

THE BRAND

Adalene started with a simple idea: clothes and accessories that feel considered, not disposable — pieces you'll still reach for a year from now, not just this season.

We're a family-run business, and that shapes everything about how we work. Every item we sell is something we'd wear ourselves, or give to someone we love. We're careful about who we work with and what goes into each piece — the weight of good fabric, the way a seam holds, the small details that separate something well-made from something that just looks good in a photo.

We're not trying to be the biggest name in fashion. We're trying to get the details right — the kind you only notice later, when the piece still fits the way it did on day one.

If you're new here, thank you for giving us a look. We hope you find something you love.

THE DESIGNERS

Every piece starts with a question: would this still feel right to wear in five years?

That question shapes almost every decision our designers make. Before a print, a cut, or a fabric gets approved, it goes through the same filter — not "is this on trend right now," but "does this hold up." Trends fade fast. Good design doesn't.

We spend more time than most on the parts you don't see at first glance: how a seam is finished, whether a fabric will keep its shape after the tenth wash, whether a strap sits right on different body shapes, not just the one in the photo. It's slower this way. We think it's worth it.

Our designers work closely with the people who actually make each piece, not at a distance. That back-and-forth — adjusting a pattern, testing a fit, going back to fix something that wasn't quite right — is where most of the actual work happens. It's rarely glamorous. It's usually just careful.

We'd rather release fewer pieces we're proud of than fill a page with things that will feel disposable in a year.
